I guess they were referring to the South East England (London, Surrey, Sussex, Kent etc) one which is probably more well-known in the world. To be honest, I prefer British accents - they just sound so lovely! Heres a nice example that shows various accents across the UK. Hmm...I guess its got at least 4 different accents in the clip. Can anyone find more?

I like Sean Bean largely because of his accent. When he changed his accent in The Hitcher, I was so disappointed. Well let's say I like the kind of English accent Sean Bean has. XD

Actually we just say London accent. As for people who live in London, they often consider themself "Londoners" :p
