It's summer break here. I have one month left till semester starts and am still hacking away with this program. I'm not an overseas Taiwanese though :p

There's been far too many birthday parties in January and too many outings and too many festivities (Australia Day) that I'm exhausted and I wish no more party invites come in 'cause I really can't be bothered to go to any for the moment. I've yet to finish updating my site, yet to learn a few more programming language and yet to prepare for my students' exams.

End of rant :p

I think that many people swarmed in Melbourne last two weeks

because of the Grand Slam.

I am a tennis fan. I was happy to see that Roger Federer won his

tenth Grand Slam champions.

By the way, I am interested in Australia, I hope I can visit Australia some day.

(My English is not very good. This forum is a good place to learn English.

Please give your comments if I use the wrong words or grammar. Thanks.:) )

You're pretty good. I'll do some corrections nonetheless.

because of the Grand Slam.

That's all. :p

Good luck indeed!

you inspire me to go to count down there

Yes, you should come down here for count down. Sydney fireworks at the harbour rocks! Pity I missed this year (or last year). The year before, I saw the 9 o'clock (they have two on New Year's Eve, one at 9, one for count down) fireworks on the plane, when we were getting ready to land. That was REALLY cooooool. :p

so what were you doing in when counting down ?

On a flight back to Taiwan from Hokkaido. Actually, I probably was in the car, on my way to 員林. Nothing special really. I either was watching movie on the plane or was sleeping in the car. If not, I was in front of the TV, flicking channels, nothing interesting whatsoever.

Why do you study here?

Because of your parents or other reasons??

Which parts of Taiwan do you like? (I mean foods, cultures or people)

Study.....where? Australia? I live here (Australia). No reason really. My whole family migrated since '92. It's my home so no reason really whatsoever.

As for Taiwan, errr.....it's my hometown I guess? I just like going back to see relatives and go shopping. Wait...did you think I wasn't Taiwanese or something? :s
