There are a couple in the living room, the wife felt hungry, then she went to the kitchen.

After a while, her husband wanna find his wife, so he also went to the kitchen and look for her, but he just find her body and a slipper beside her.

Yeah, "the slipper" is a key, but it not hers.

I'm not sure if the man noticed something wrong because there is someone else in the house, perhaps he didn't care about it.
