不知道選UCB好還是選UCLA好呢……

xd 兩間學校的offer都拿到了~我是psychology major

可是去哪好呢？

說真的之前我一直沒想到UCB會過，因為聽說有些GPA 4.0的學生也沒被它錄取

心中設定的目標一直是UCLA，有一個好朋友在那邊（但今年畢業了），最喜歡的老師也是UCLA出身

而且我是在LA讀的社區大學，相對來講比較熟悉環境，有認識的朋友（但不見得交往密切）

如果從LA搬到Berkeley，好像很麻煩的樣子 T_T

再者，看排名，UCB比UCLA也就是高了一兩名（both 綜合&專業）

但我父母（在台灣）都認為UCB名氣比較響亮，在華人世界裡比UCLA聲望高，以後回國找工作應該比較容易什麽的……我覺得沒有那麼不同吧……

所以，怎麼辦呢呢呢呢……？

You may better off making your decision based on your career planning.

If you plan on returning Taiwan or Asia then you will certainly benefit more from UCB.

Also, if you are going for theoretical researches a school with a better publicity(although the distinction is rather trivial) would take you further on the path.

On the other hand, if the psychology professional requirement is merely to obtain a license or certificate to perform engagements and both schools are literally equally capable in preparing you to acquire such professional recognition, you may want to look into the living an tuition expenses parts.

Location is another factor worth your consideration due to the costs associated as well as your existing social network.

Personally, I do think traveling and moving helps to embrace new opportunities.

版上已經討論蠻多次的，你看康熙來了都有說過，美國看的是個人實力，念個名校沒實力還是沒工作，我認識多UCB出來1年多才找到工作，我也認識很多SJSU, SFSU 出來馬上找到大公司，完全看你自己，所以你應該找個環境適合你的，我認識很多到LA念書的人，去了變的超愛玩都不讀書，籌錢買好車炫耀(這好像是做LA人最基本的)

再來就是看major排名，UCB也不是每個系都好，你可能要先查一下
