愛力克斯 10 發表於 March 11, 2009 檢舉 Share 發表於 March 11, 2009 So, on every Wednesday, I write a personal story in my blog about my pre-college life, thinking that it would be fun to share these stories and it might even help those who are wondering what did it take me to get into a good college in America.Well, one thing that I did in high school was: in my 12th grade AP English class, I handed in an essay filled with the f**k word. And, I read that essay out loud in class and got an A+++ on it. Here's the link to my f**k essay: http://www.wretch.cc/blog/acchang88/26440824Hope you enjoy! :) 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站

myaddresswego1 10 發表於 July 13, 2009 檢舉 Share 發表於 July 13, 2009 Pretty interesting....I gradually believe that the american students make greater essays than us.<Comparing their English ones with our Chinese ones.(In the profundity, we lose a lot.)The Bushibans always tell us to memorize some famous examples to put in our essays, in contrary, while the american students read broadly(Like CNN news, BBC..,etc), they can easily find their materials. I am ashamed of myself. In my previous class, I had a classmate from America. He was an absolute encyclopedia , to my astonishment, he always kept track of the latest news.In Taiwan, a lot of students only read Tabloid like SHOUN or Apple Daily.(Though these two are partially the same)That is where the difference comes from. 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站
