解釋文法我最不行... 可是我試試看吧

1. 用 "to wander (into the road)" 變成在形容主詞 ("deer crossing sign") 的"目的"是為了讓人漫走到路中央.

可以這樣:

the "deer crossing" sign tells people to be aware of deer to prevent accidents.

--> "有鹿出沒" 的標誌告訴人們要小心鹿以防止意外.

(這樣有懂嗎....?)

2."against" 是 "防止" 或 "避免" (什麼什麼) 的發生. 用against, 句子的意思變成 "電視要我們注意要防止颱風的到來" (人類目前沒這個能力).

要用against 可以這樣:

The TV news warned us against driving after drinking.

--> 電視新聞提醒我們要遠離酒後開車.

3. while 在這裡的意思是 although (雖然): "雖然他很會拉小提琴, 他不打算專攻音樂"

As = "因為 Jason is good at playing the violin, he doesn't..."

When = "當 Jason is good at playing the violin 的時候, he doesn't..."

What 的話..

1. 第一段要加 is "What Jason is good at is playing the violin, ..." --> "Jason 擅長的是拉小提琴, .."

2. 加了 is 之後, 句子的意思也是不對.

4. while = "高速公路讓交通更快速, 另一方面, 鄉村小路讓駕駛開車更輕鬆"

therefore = "因為高速公路讓交通更快速, 所以, 鄉村小路讓駕駛開車更輕鬆"

5. 用 moved 的話這一句裡面就有兩個完整的意思/句子(1. It's an earthquake. 2. I feel the house moved.) 中間又沒有連接詞, 所以就變成 run-on 句.

用 moving, "I feel the house moving" 變成在形容 earthquake:

It's an earthquake I feel the house moving --> It's an (I feel the house moving) 的 earthquake.

--> 那是一個我可以感覺得到房子在動的地震

deer後面省略which is

+against是告誡希望你不要去做那件事(你有能力做到那件事)

+of是警告你有一件事要發生了(你沒有能力阻擋他的來到)

這邊的while當成雖然的意思

這邊的while當成然而的意思

feel後面主動Ving 被動用Ven(p.p)

如果你moved當成過去式解釋的話

feel後面要加原形動詞

3.while當雖然解釋用於兩個相反的句子
