【Question】anybody plans to travell abroad this summer??

hmm.......maybe it's too early to discuss this. anyway, is there any body planning to travel abroad this summer??(i'm planning to go to new york and watch the all-star game at yankee stadium!!!!)

Unfortunately till this summer I''ll get a very short vacation with a lot of homework as of the summer I am going to get through my last school term moreover face the final examination of collage entrance.

i'm currently abroad right now, and i'll stay for the summer

though my taiwanese teacher suggests me to go back earlier so i will have more time to prepare the high school enrollment test, i decide to sign up for some summer program (since i don't need to pay for airplane ticket right now) and study a year again when i go back

if you really want to go, try to apply for financial aid or scholarship. or if you can afford at least the plane ticket, there are some free program in the U.S. (but not for english, more like art and sport)

I'm going to UC Berkeley this summer, for 8 weeks, alone.

might be fun i get zero idea *rolls, since I don't get a car and I don't atend to the travel study group (but getting some units to take), plus, pubs or whatever do not allow someone under 18 to enter |||||

everything seems to be unknown : P

the only thing I know is that it'd be an adventure =ˇ=|||

My family is planing to go to Indonesia this summer.

I find I have an extremely tight schedule in this summer vacation after the college enterance examination. The most important thing above that is to cheer Chinese Taipei on.

This summer is soooooooooo long away for me. (It's winter for you guys when my summer comes). MIGHT go to Italy if I accept my boyfriend's parent's invitation to go to Italy for a week with them. After that, not sure. Either I come back and work on my thesis or I might go to Japan. *shrug*

Last university summer for me.......maybe I should use it properly this time (1st year summer I was doing summer course, 2nd year summer I was programming for some competition, 3rd year summer I was doing internship - and during ALL this time, my friends have gone to like....20 different countries. Man I'm so jealous. >_>)

What extremely makes me delighted is the Taiwan University veterinary camp I'll take part in this summer vacation . Actually , I've been dreamed of being a vet due to my enthusiasm for animals . ^0^

*thinks* Ok, well SCHOOL TERM usually starts end of Januray so that's still during summer. Summer holiday's between beginning of December to end of January. We have 4 school terms. Each term lasts for about 10 weeks and each holiday (except for Summer - or rather, we call it Christmas holiday) is usually around 2 or 3 weeks (depending whether you go to private or public school).

As for UNIVERSITY semesters, we have two, usually around 14 weeks (except my uni decide to do the stupid thing of making it 12 weeks) and we start our semester on March, so that's after summer ends (between December and February).

Hmmm...I guess in summary, our year starts at the beginning of the year - as it should.

get scholarship! :) go to the german cultural centre in taipei! Talk to them about studying in germany, they will have some ways to help you. Chances dont come to you sometimes, you need to go and chase it!
