【英美語文】請問我到底該如何學英文呢?

有一些人學了幾個月後就可以講一口很溜的英文，但是有一些人學了好幾年還是學不會。

難道真的要像孟子所說的一樣嗎─如果要學外國語言就要在當地住上幾年才能講得向當地人一樣好嗎

說實在我也很想知道，現在只要考英文我都很頭痛，但是在說話聊天用英文我都一直覺得沒問題，我同學和我都認為我的單字應該已經足夠應付考試了，可是考試成績都很爛，一直想不通其中的環節，有挫折到!!

不過, 環境給的差距確實很大

我表妹來澳洲一年後從聽不太懂我在講什麼到聽的懂90%

從我聽不太懂她在講什麼到只需偶爾改一些文法

所以, 以我的經驗, 有差吧?

Maybe someone should do a research and check the statistics. My hypothesis is probably yes, you'll need to merge into the environment to speak as well as native speakers but I don't think it's wholly impossible to be able to learn just as well outside the environment (you can create the environment afterall). The real difference is the unnaturalness due to the lack of exposure to the language's culture. For example, all the French and German I learned at school probably is little use when I do go to France and Germany because colloquial French and German is going to be different due to cultural augmentation. Also, the definition, "speaking as well as native speakers" probably needs clarification. The statement is too general. Some native speakers have horrible grammar and lack of vocabulary (resulting to them swearing every 3 seconds which can be quite uncomfortable when you're sitting on the seat next to them on a bus >_>)
