今年一堆Ivy League的學校入取綠8.5~9%

話說MIT其中一個class2011的Administrator是一個台中一中的學生

可以去MIT的Admission網站看他的網誌

(我們應當請他上來指點一下大學入學迷經這樣......XD)

幾個月前看到報紙上說

哈佛跟耶魯增加了一些清寒家庭的補助

哈佛好像有一個是家裡收入如果六萬以下

只要繳收入的百分之幾就好了

因此就吸引很多外國學生跨海申請…然後錄取率就創新低了

不只一個人跟我僅那裡很危險

不過校園內當然不會啦

What factor made you think I should go to UIUC?

Never mind that

UCLA financial aid? I think you mean FAFSA

yes, I did apply for federal aid

My estimate cost for UCLA is now $28000

and for UIUC, it is $33000

Those numbers are after the deduction of federal grant and college scholarship

I plan to become a california resident, therefore I will be able to pay much less

I am still trying to figure out how to do that

anyone who has successfully establish residence for tuition purpose

我從waitlist補進去

天呀...這要怎麼辦

我原本超想去umich

連衣服都買了

後來被waitlisted

覺得機會渺茫 難過了很久 很失落

就想說好吧

去UCLA好了

查了超多UCLA的資料

註冊了

deposit付了

housing也弄好了

心理上已經準備好要去UCLA

結果今天就來個email恭喜我被umich錄取

吼...是怎樣呀...
