到底什麼時候要接冠詞阿?(ex:the..)

有些時候要加有些時候又不用加

文法書上的界定又看不太懂...:'(

有什麼比較明確的判斷依據來判斷什麼時候要不要加冠詞嗎?

用"a"及"the"來舉例!!

( A )

Kate felt bored while waiting her boyfriend. She took out "a" novel and read it for a couple of minutes.

( B )

Kate didn't finished her favorite novel last night. She took out "the" novel and start to read it.

( A )句中,並沒有說明是哪本小說,只是Kate隨手拿出的一本,如果冠詞要用"the",你就要在後面解釋說明是哪本小說,例如: ..took out the novle and read it for a couple of minutes, which was her favorite one.

( B )句中,已經在前面說明那本小說就是Kate昨晚還沒讀完的那本,所以要用"the",如果用"a"的話,兩個句子就一點關係都沒有啦!!!

以下是小弟我遇到過的翻譯題

他試著要把聖經翻譯成中文

He tried to translate the Bible into Chinese.

這裡的the是因為Bible?還是因為特別指他想翻譯的那本聖經?

我看到他被公車撞倒

I saw him knocked down by a bus.

如果說撞到他的正是那輛公車，那用the才比較合理吧?

怎麼變成了單單純純的"一輛公車"呢?

如果說"a"和"the"其實可以互通，那

我感覺房子在搖

I felt the house shaking.

這裡的the也可換成a?

再來

為了省錢，你應該單捷運而不是坐計程車

To save money,you should take the MRT instead od taking the taxi.

這裡的2個the是專指什麼呢?

如果說MRT想專指台北的，那taxi呢?(又不是只有台北有計程車= =' )

還有..

只有大的龍捲風才會引起注意

It is the big tornado that receive attention.

這裡的the似乎也沒有指那個大的龍捲風吧?

如果是專指"大的龍捲風"，那用"a"或復數型可以嗎?

地上蓋滿了落葉

The ground was covered with fallen leaves.

這裡的the也是強調"這裡的地上"?

還是?

太陽正發出光芒

The sun is sending out light.

這個太陽的the又是如何呢?

(解釋成專指我們能看見的那個太陽?

感覺起來有點牽強，我們能看見的太陽不也只有那一個?)

另外..

不要用壞的觀點去看政治

Don't put politics in a bad sight.

這裡的bad light為啥不用the(強調壞的觀點押:E )

卻偏偏用a?

the Bible是專有用法!

I saw him knocked down by a bus.

這邊用"a"是因為並不知道是被哪輛公車撞倒,如果要用"the",就要附加說明阿!例如:

I saw him knocked down by the bus. The bus was full of passengers.

I felt the house shaking.

這邊的"the"代表著你所在的房子,想想看,一個人能感到房子的搖晃,必定是在該房之中,如果用"a",就好像是特異功能感應到不知哪處的房子在搖晃一樣.

MRT專用"the",但是我覺得taxi應該要改成複數~"~

用"the"的話,可能是文章的前面已經有說明過這個大龍捲風的狀況,否則用複數型較恰當

這邊用"the"是廣義概括,ground就是我們所熟知的土地,用"a"的話不適當

如果用"a",就代表還有其他太陽啦

Don't put politics in a bad sight.

用"the"的話一定或說明是什麼樣的bad sight
