Actually communism isn't that bad, it's sort of a Utopia concept. But, since most people are greedy and wants more money after having even a lot, commusim simply won't work.Communism gives a handful of people power over mass majority, and since it is the nature of human to lust for more power, people below will give whatever they have for this enormous power, and anyone who gets this power will try their hardest protecting it, hence war, etc. Ideally, it just puts everyone to the same standpoint.Capitalism is sort of a softer communism, replacing power with money. People who have loads of money influence, if not control, the political situation of the area. The reason I'm saying that capitalism is softer thancommunism is because of free marketing. It is easy for one person to get rich to a certain point, but going beyond that point will be really hard.I can't judge which one is 'better', because it really depends on many factors, but I prefer capitalism. Capitalism, in my opinion, gives people more motive to actually work, because the only only way you're going to survive is to work, as opposed to communism. BTW, I don't think the movie and the book focus mainly on capitalism and communism, it's more about totalitarianism. 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站

And on and on... Keep increasing their capital. 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站
Catta 10 發表於 April 2, 2007 作者 檢舉 Share 發表於 April 2, 2007 well, perhaps I chose a wrong word to describe what I want to say.I should have used the word "totalitarianism". This word definitely show what I was thinking about.Speaking of totalitarianism, it reminds me a question which have bothered me for a long time:Here are two choices, one is to become a citizen of an totalitarian society where no criminals exsist, another is to be a democratic society citizen but you have to take care of yourself ( I mean the crime rate is terribly high ) , which one would you choose?well, this would be another chatting topic then.Frankly speaking, there is no perfect system for the masses. All the politicians can do is to choose a suitable one or try to adjust one to fit into the society.I was just trying to find the pros and cons of these two =w= 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站

MikiRei 10 發表於 April 8, 2007 檢舉 Share 發表於 April 8, 2007 Haha. Animal Farm. Brings back traumatic memories. >_>The book was great - loved it - incredibly interesting for a 13 year old. However, the CARTOON adaption of the story shown to a 6 year old.......is MOST disturbing. Nonetheless, yes, it is a masterpiece. 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站
