The story describes that the five daughters of the Bennets expecting marriages with rich and celebrated families under their mother's arrangements. The oldest one, Jane, met Mr. Bindley, a new neighbor of the Bennets, on a ball and fell in love with him soon; But the second-oldest daughter, Elizabeth, had prejudice against the pride of his friend, Mr Darcy.

Later, the leaving of Mr Bindley and the frame-up of an officer named Mr.Wickham increased the prejudice.

This is a story about the five daughters of the Bennett family and their search for an union with wealthy, prestigious family under the influence of their mother.

NOTE: Technically, 安排 will be arrangement but it just doesn't make sense given the context.

The eldest Miss Bennett, Jane, fell in love at first sight with their neighbour, Mr Bingley, at a ball. However, the second Miss Bennet, Elizabeth, (or Lizzy given 莉琪) holds a prejudice against Bingley's proud friend, Mr. Darcy. Lizzy's prejudice against Darcy deepens further after Bingley's departure (from Netherfield) and Wickham's false accusation on Darcy's past.

Note here: You may have realised that I've placed in more details than the original Chinese text. This is because English is a LESS subtle language than Chinese. Should I translate exactly as the Chinese text, the translation won't make sense to English readers.

Darcy's pride was injured when Lizzy refused his marriage proposal, causing him to write a letter to Lizzy to explain the truth. Lizzy, hence, discovers Wickham's true nature and is ashamed of her original prejudice against Darcy. Lizzy later falls in love with Darcy after Darcy drops his pride and greatly helps Lizzy after Lizzy's youngest sister, Lydia, was tricked into elopement with Wickham.

Furthermore, due to Darcy, Bingley and Jane were able to unify in marriage and the story was able to end happily with the marriage between Darcy and Lizzy as well.
