Certainly not if you still live on their income.As for cooking, I do a bit myself nonetheless. Let's start with the easiest of all: fried rice :p1. Cook rice in steamer2. Dice ham and carrot (if your ham tends to be too salty, soak it in water first)3. Crack two eggs into a bowl and mix (not sure the term - 攪勻)4. Place bit of oil in frying pan5. Place egg into pan and cook (make sure to keep scrambling as you cook)6. Take egg out of pan7. Cook ham and carrot (only for a little while)8. Place rice into the pan with the ham and carrot9. Place egg into the pan with everything else10. Add a bit of salt or hondashi (I add both) - or, you could get this Japanese fried rice flavour bag and add that. Works as well. Sometimes, instead of salt or hondashi, I add tomato sauce. Tastes just as good (taste better in fact)11. Keep cooking, making sure everything's mixed properly12.
