第一次聽到Leaves' Eyes的歌聲, 立刻就被她如精靈般的聲音給迷住了, Leaves' Eyes是來自德國/挪威的Symphonic metal / gothic metal團, 主唱Liv Kristine(Leaves音與Liv相近, 所以Leaves' Eyes就像是Liv Eyes, 主唱還滿有靈氣的)原先是Theatre of Tragedy同為gothic metal的主唱, 在該團發過五張專輯, 後來被開除了, 接著就跟她老公Alexander Krull(也是Leaves' Eyes的Keyboard手)組成了Leaves' Eyes.

這團的歌曲大部分都是Liv寫的, 內容與北歐神話或維京海盜有關, 飄渺的歌聲, 靈氣的臉蛋, 在加上這樣內容的歌曲, 更讓我愛不釋手, 現在發行了五張專輯, 後續的新專輯也正在著手中

這次翻譯的歌曲是收錄在Njord, 這個名字是北歐神話中海洋之神尼約德, 有興趣的人自己看一下底下的介紹.

這首歌Landscape of the Dead雖說是收錄在Njord中, 但僅在限量版中才有收錄, 不過2009的專輯, 又是所謂的「限量版」, 其實現在Amazon還買的到啦.....
