可愛的美環 10 發表於 February 5, 2006 檢舉 Share 發表於 February 5, 2006 我現在要唸高二下了一直都在台灣教育體制長大的我...真的有機會在國外念好書嗎很煩惱:'( 現在有個機會讓我出國念不過是在高三:|我知道申請美國大學要看SAT什麼的最近才接觸SAT感覺很艱難有點沒信心現在又在台灣和國外之間選擇的尷尬期其實在台灣成績也沒有很不好如果我肯定下來唸應該會有不錯的成績只是心裡一直有個夢想想出國念到了高三才出國努力的未來會不會有點太異想天開!?請大家給我些意見吧!!感激不盡>"< 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站

starjimmy 10 發表於 February 5, 2006 檢舉 Share 發表於 February 5, 2006 出國唸不一定要唸大學啊研究所也是出國念更重要的是你如果沒有特別準備SAT的話這樣去考是很趕的(還有 不要期望出國的一年可以幫你多換多少時間 一開始你會有適應的問題 等你熟悉那邊環境以後 你也差不多要考SAT了)再說 其實在美國廿 對你SAT理科不一定加分而你一開始進來 英文也不可能直接跳美國local student修的English(要不然這樣的話你應該有在台灣考SAT的能力)所以我覺得你真的想要出國不如現在開始準備 在台灣考比較實際 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站

You must also present objective evidence that you intend to make California your permanent home. Evidence of intent must be dated one year before the term for which you seek resident classification. If these steps are delayed, the one-year durational period will be extended until you have demonstrated both continuous presence and intent for one full year. Physical presence within the state solely for educational purposes does not constitute the establishment of California residence under state law, regardless of the length of your stay. Your residence cannot be derived from your spouse nor, since you are an adult, from your parents. starjimmy 10 發表於 February 12, 2006 檢舉 Share 發表於 February 12, 2006 不是吧resident的定義是你要有domicile可是UC的規定寫的很清楚如果你不是PR而是拿non-immigration visa的話你是沒有辦法establish domicile的另外 你說的應該是說你成為citizen的時候同時會成為該state的resident(如果你沒有經過PR的話啦 當然這是對美國人而言) 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站
The Dog 10 發表於 February 13, 2006 檢舉 Share 發表於 February 13, 2006 resident應該是只要合法居留在any given state綠卡如上面的所說是pr 永久的, 在某州住超過1年就可以申請in-stateF-1 visa只要期効在, 也算是legal resident只是這樣的resident不能申請in-state tuition就算我在VA住了18個月也沒法但是除此之外, 申請駕照, 釣魚執照, 甚至買槍, 在VA我都被視為resident因此牌照稅我也要繳罰單也照付 鏈接文章 分享到其他網站
