Graduates don't know which job suit them cost'

BY SHELLEY SHAH

To the college graduates in taiwan, life after gtaduation means a

choice to make ,and most likely than not,a difficult one.

An online survey, conducted by 104 Job Bank, showed that 56 percent

of the nation's college graduates have problems deciding what to do after

graduation.

When seeking employment,"not kwowing the job that suits them the

most"is the most common problem.

While 43 precent of the college graduates are currently looking for

jobs that are elevant to their graduation majors,21 percent said their jobs

and their majors basically irrelevant. Thristy-six percent said they are not

necessarily related.

When looking for jobs,"lack of working experience," "lack of language

skills," "lack of professional skills," "not knowing personal strengths," and

"not knowing how to handle interview skills" were identified as top challenges

for college graduates.

Monica Chiu, marketing director, said the fact that 56 percent of college

graduates do not know what to do after graduation shows that there is

apparent gap between the school education and the job market.

Chiu added that results confirmed her belief that the prepareation

for employment should start when these college graduates were

still in school.

"If they have accumulated extensive experience, including

internships,part-time jobs , even tutoring ,employers are mostly

to view them as experienced, rather than some newbies,"she said.

To the college graduates in taiwan, life after graduation means a

choice to make ,and most likely than not,a difficult one.

你把他想成 and most likely, a difficult one.

relevant, knowing, graduation
