I'm Mike.

cuz Mike spells like Mika.

Mika Hakkinen ,who is one of F1 champions.

He's a famous McLaren driver.

It was with McLaren that Mika gained his first podium finish,

3rd in the Japanese GP.

In 1995 a serious accident during practice at the Australian Grand Prix brought him within inches of his life.

A tire had deflated at high speed with the result of a hard impact into a tire wall,

severe head injuries and a coma. However, he recovered and returned to racing, and won his first GP in 1997, which was the European Grand Prix of that year.

I love F1.

Wow, I've never met a girl named Lee before!

As far as I know, Lee is usually a male name,

but from your definition, I believe that it also suits females as well.

You learn something new every day!!!

:)

Thanks!

By the way, what' s your English name?

Hello , this is Jennifer.

I got my name when I went to Percharter,

an American school in I-lan.

The reason I got this name is because

the last word of my name had the same tone as "Jenn".

Although I want to change my English name,

it's so difficult to change your name after everyone knows your name.

I have yet to introduce myself:

My name is Richard, my kindergarten teacher (who is also called Richard) gave it to me.

It's a great name actually, since few people have it ( as to John, Peter etc. )

...sounds great too if you can pronounce it correctly ^^

Christopher, that is my 2nd forename- on the German passport so it is for real and surely my 1st forename would be my chinese name but i am not going to reveal it

My parents named me that in hopes of i could be a bit like an icon from urban legend, st. Christopher who carried jesus' s crusifix to wherever he could preach but too bad since split off with the church and i never really like christianity and i enjoy learning different religions with my parents instead of that "popular" religion

i'm janet, likewise, from my english teacher

i guess that was the time when janet jackson just became famous

cuz she picked two names for me

one was janet, another ...... i forget, but i know it was also a star's name

after the inccident at the soccer game, i tried so hard to change my name

from helen, hermia, charlotte to some weird name

but people still prefer Janet ......

and thx for Janet Jackson, whereever i go, whatever class i'm in

people know me first, and it's so easy for them to memorize my name

also: do you like janet jackson is the most common question they ask

most chinese at my school keep their official name

but the way the translate the names is too hard for foreigner to pronounce

for example, 欣, we translate into shin in taiwan (probably, not sure)

but they use xin in china, way to hard for american to pronounce it

after reading what MikiRei said, i kind of want to change my name back to the chinese one. but it's too late, since it's already the end of the third quater and people are used to call me Janet. plus i'm used to it myself
