Bolton council launches investigation after housing developments blamed for major flood#wuzuolai

Bolton Council has launched an investigation into how heavy rainfall earlier this month led to a number of properties being damaged.

On May 16, flash flooding in the Horwich area led to blocked roads, submerged properties and school closures.

The severe flooding also saw some cars having to be towed away from the Beehive roundabout near to Chorley New Road after getting stuck.
