Romantic Pieces, op.75

    以下是No.1

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpETaUEPZpM&feature=related

    Romance in F minor, op.11

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzxwv5iZLx0&feature=related

University of Sydney Conservatorium open day表演時說

  4. it's just for the fact that you're learning English as a language

At first, I thought you're talking about the real English tests, as in English tests in Western countries :p

Just sharing that my English tests at school (in Australia) are very subjective. There used to be very few multiple choices, which mean that there's only 1 acceptable answer - but basically we write extensive response for topic tests. For instance, there are 3 parts in the exams (yearly examination); comprehension, personal response and essay. The time allowed is 2 hours, which is quite tough if you think about it.

Same thing goes to Chinese tests we do (well I did) in Taiwan, there's only one part for creative writing, and the rest is multiple choices-how could the examiners tell how well you can express yourself. They might figure out how you can write beautifully, but I suppose they don't care the way you think in terms of being opinionated.

  5. I'll give you a couple of the ones I've read thus far:

Looking for Alibrandi (coming-of-age)>Australian book, it'd probably help you to get to know Australian culture well, in particularly Sydney life :p

Twilight series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn)>this is easy to understand

James and the Giant Peach (read some other Roald Dahl's)>it's very cute

Smiling for Strangers >it's not very well-known but it's very easy

Holes >oh... you must read this one

  9. Clara Bruni

Emilie Simon (e.g. Desert, Fleur de Saison)

    Kyo (C'est ma faute)

    Manau (Fest Noz de Paname)

MC Solaar (Victime de la mode) he's a French rap

Diam's (Jeune Demoiselle) she's a French rap as well

    Marc Lavoine (J'espere)

    Cyrz (Melimelopee)

    Rose (La Liste)

  11. I'm learning French

don't know what 得福 is... French examination in Taiwan?!

just google it, different exmination organizations have different criterias... slightly different sometimes... don't really know about French learning in Taiwan

You can e-mail me and then I'll talk to you about French or perhaps even in French. I'm sort of a bit lower than intermediant- BUT, I'm obssessed with French- c'est sûr! (English:that's for sure) my e-mail's [email protected] (am I allowed to post this kind of thing here?)

Besides, you could also go to French websites and stuff -like the one on my signature board underneath :p (<Service Maximum is obvious extremely hard for both of us, but what I'm saying is the idea of using your resources)

Do you use Mandarin to learn French? I strongly suggest you to use English, in another way, they help each other a lot~

  12. So ethical......= =

I'm neutral, because I'm not opposed to it, niether agree with it.

I don't mind whatever people do, but the conserves has a very strong fact that humans need reproduction. Whether they (the homosexual couple, as in general) get marry or not, they're not going to make it (reproduction) work in the long run. Not to mention adoption and stuff, that's another issue. However, we shouldn't promote it anway-no comment on restricting on the other hand, but supporting is fine.

  13. This is what I've heard of from my friends (I have no idea about anyting initially)

McCain is way too old and he has cancer, Sarah Palin would get the chance to be the president easily. No offence. Also, Sarah Palin is very likely going to promote banned abortion (or she's already doing it), which would make lots of debate on it...

In terms of the impacts on Taiwan, apparently it's better if John McCain won, because he's from the Republican which is the same as George Bush. It is more likely that they support us, if they won. On the other hand, Democrats are usually opposed to be confronted for us. (I'm trying to explain Taiwan's news points of view, according to dad)

    C'est tout. More self-research is needed :p

  14. First of all, English expression is very different from Chinese expression

In general, you just need to get used to English expression (ie without translation, but really feel the language). You should read a lot, because you can learn many words and expressions from that. Preferabily, read it out loud. You don't have to always read books (well, books are the best), you can also read news; those on the websites are easier~

Ah, you can read lots of poems as well!! You should try to read them out loud, and do some simple analyse if you could, and then you can write some your owns, too-you can expand your vocabulary this way

It's not like a click~ then you can do something with ease.

I don't find it easy to express my feelings and everything in English either,

but at least I think in English when things are in English (e.g. school, assignments), on the other hand, I think in Chinese when things are in Chinese (e.g. when I'm reading Chinese poems) Although my reaction to English is not as fast as the native speakers are, I put myself into the language after all, as though I'm attempting to be engrossed with another part of myself.

Anyway, these are just some of my tips, hope you get what I mean-cheers^^
